Roofers Perth is a referral service. Your enquiry goes to one roofer covering your suburb. They inspect it, quote it and invoice you directly.
We don't climb roofs, hold materials or employ trades. Whatever you agree is agreed with them.
There is no roofing licence in Western Australia. Registration with the Building Services Board only applies to building work valued at $20,000 or more, so most domestic roof repairs, repointing and even many restorations are legally carried out by people holding no trade licence at all.
That isn't a scandal and it isn't anyone doing the wrong thing — it's simply how the state regulates it, and it's very different from Queensland where a roofer needs a QBCC licence over $3,300. But it does mean the checks that protect you are different: insurance certificate, recent local work you can look at, and everything in writing. The one exception is guttering, which needs a plumbing licence.
Because it's the defining Perth roof job. This is a tile city, and on a tile roof the mortar bedding under the ridge capping is what fails first — cracked by long dry summers, then let go by wet winters.
It fails silently. The roof looks perfect from the ground right up until water is in the ceiling, which is why so many Perth homeowners first hear about it in July when every good roofer is already booked.
No reviews, testimonials or before-and-after galleries. We haven't done the work, so any of those would be invented. Ask the roofer for addresses you can drive past.
No fixed prices. A roof can't be priced from the ground. The ranges here are indicative so you can compare quotes — particularly on repointing, where you should always ask for the rate per lineal metre.
